Prince William: We Can End Homelessness

On 30th and 31st October, 'Prince William: We Can End Homelessness' will air on ITV and ITX from 9pm followed by an international premiere on Disney+ from 1st November. 

The two-part documentary will give an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the first year of the Homewards programme. 

The Lord Mayor's Appeal charity partner Homewards is a five-year programme that will demonstrate that it’s possible to end homelessness, making it rare, brief and unrepeated.

Working to change the narrative. Homewards is focused on improving understanding about the different forms of homelessness, shifting perceptions and boosting optimism that homelessness can be ended. 

The exclusive documentary follows Prince William as he launches Homewards across the country. The series also features powerful stories of those currently experiencing homelessness or who have lived experience of the issue, alongside some life-changing solutions.

The Lord Mayor's Appeal team were lucky enough to be invited to an advance screening and can attest to it offering a powerful glimpse of what its like for 350,000 people in the UK who lack a permanent home and what Homewards and Prince William are doing to help tackle this growing issue.
