17 December ICAP Charity Day raises £5.2m
7 December
ICAP Charity Day
The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Nicholas Lyons, the Lady Mayoress Felicity Lyons and various celebrities and public figures were in attendence raising money for the benefitting charities through telephone broking. By giving away all their revenues and commissions on just one day each year, ICAP Charity Day positively changes the lives of thousands of people less fortunate. Through fundraising activities, which saw The Lord Mayor take to the phones and employees from across the city dress up for the day, give charities such as The Lord Mayor's Appeal's own charity partners from 2022 The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, National Numeracy, Place2Be, OnSide and Samaritans additional support.
