Abseil Challenge 2025

The thrilling Lord Mayor’s Appeal Abseil Challenge will return on Friday 4 July 2025 and is open to everyone who is over 18 years old and reasonably fit and healthy - no previous experience is needed.

Take on the dizzying height of The Leadenhall Building, also known as the Cheesegrater and head up to the 47th floor where a team of abseiling experts will be on hand to show you the ropes before descending an impressive 215m accompanied by an instructor.

By taking on this abseil you will commit to raising money for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal, ‘A Better City for All’, supporting our two inspiring charities -  Homewards, a Royal Foundation project and MQ Mental Health Research - both deliver ground breaking programmes and find solutions to some of London’s most pressing societal issues.
