The Lord Mayor's Cup

Join us on Friday 27 June 2025 from 12-6pm at Powerleague Shoreditch for an unforgettable day of football, fun and fundraising at the inaugural Lord Mayor’s Cup, a 5-a-side charity football tournament hosted by Lord Mayor Alderman Alastair King DL in aid of The Lord Mayor's Appeal. The tournament for up to 32 teams is a 5-a-side format with squads of up to 8 players per team. Mixed teams are welcomed and encouraged.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Competitive matches: put together your company’s 5-a-side dream team to compete in an exciting league-format knockout tournament
• Battle it out to win the coveted The Lord Mayor’s Cup trophy
• Exhibition match: watch ex-professional players take on the Lord Mayor’s team
• Fundraising activities: get involved in games throughout the day such as paddle tennis, inflatable darts, beat the goalie etc

(as well as a team entry you will receive your logo on event materials, social media and website; verbal mention in the Lord Mayor’s speech and a team photo with the Lord Mayor; pitch naming rights with one of the tournament pitches named after your company on the day; and a half page advert and logo placement in the event programme)
