The Lord Mayor's Green Dinner
The Lord Mayor Alderman Vincent Keaveny and the Lady Mayoress Amanda Keaveny will be hosting the Green Dinner on Tuesday 31 May 2022 in aid of The Lord Mayor's Appeal.
Held at Mansion House, this black tie event will combine various green aspects of Alderman Vincent Keaveny's mayoralty; his Irish background, his environmental aims for the mayoralty and the construction industry. The event will include a champagne & Guinness reception, three course dinner, live and silent auction and musical entertainment.
Born and raised in Ireland, the Lord Mayor is celebrating and championing Ireland – and the City’s relationship with Ireland – throughout his mayoralty. This is part of his Mayoral theme – People and Purpose: Investing in a Better Tomorrow which also embraces another form of ‘green’ – meaning sustainability. A core part of the mayoral year is delivering on our commitment to Green Finance and amplifying the City’s role in delivering sustainable social investment and fighting climate change. But it’s not enough to just be green and hope others follow – we need to celebrate the success of other sectors turning green, too. Therefore, the Lord Mayor is actively promoting sustainable construction, supporting companies who encourage building with renewable and recyclable resources and materials. Come and join us at The Lord Mayor’s Green Dinner to embrace the challenge of being green and celebrate the sustainable plans, products and services that is making the UK the envy of the world.
